Welcome to the Quantum Information Systems group! We are a newly established research group in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of NUS.
Our group research is focused on the theory of quantum communication, cryptography, and correlations. In these subjects, we work on deeply interdisciplinary problems like the security of quantum cryptography (e.g., quantum key distribution, randomness generation, broadcasting networks, etc), and the foundations of quantum information processing (monogamy of quantum correlations, quantum communication resource theory, etc), just to name a few.
We will update our group website soon with more details on our research. Stay tuned!
Also, we are looking to hire now! Currently, we are accepting PhD students and hiring research fellows (also known as postdoctoral researchers).
PhD positions: Interested candidates are invited to send in their applications (CV/resume and a two-paragraph research statement) to Dr. Charles Lim at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please find further information for the NUS Research Scholarship at this link: more info
Research fellow positions: Interested applicants are invited to send in their applications (CV/resume with complete publication list, a two-page research statement, and email contacts of 2 references) to Dr. Charles Lim at email@example.com.
